PostSim State University

In case you've wondered where I've been and what I've been doing. Psychedelicsim and I have teamed up once again! This time we are doing a Sims 3 version of The Sims 2 Sim State University!! Of course it can't be a University, because we don't have University in Sims 3! But, we are making a world based around the Sims 2 University. I've recreated the Dorms and made them into "Boarding Houses" (Sims 3 Apartments); I've recreated all the Uni Homes, there will be a number of starters included in this group. I've recreated the Uni Sims that came in Sims 2 and they will be available to place in their Uni Home (these were rentals in the Sims 2 University ep); But that's not all!! I've also recreated the University Community lots and made them into Sims 3 style community lots! The largest and most difficult of these was The University Student Center - which has been converted to a Sims 3 City Hall. The City Hall is in the basement and above is the recreation of the Student Union with lots of fun things for our sims to do! I've just completed a Chapel (for weddings), a graveyard (family style with pets cemetary included) and the Junk yard. I'm also very pleased with my version of the Sims 3 Criminal Hangout (which I've put in the basement) and put a Jail House up above! So much fun!!

Soon Psychedelicsim will start on the world itself and my recreations, new creations, refurbished rh's and other community lots as well as those she will be contributing will be placed in this recreation of Sim State University and I will let you know when it is ready for all to enjoy!!

If you would like to see our progress, you can go take a peek here: http://www.flyingacres.com/NS/index.php?topic=2643.0

An update for you on the progress of "Neighborly Sim State". I completed all the creations for this new world as well as the Uni Students who resided there in Sims 2 for Sims 3. Psychedelicsim is now preparing the world, placing the creations as well as doing some of her own which will include some of the RH's and other Community Lots. Soon we will start the testing phase. I'm very excited about it.

And crazy - but we are also planning a recreation of Veronaville once this one is complete!! Me - I've already started preparing for Veronaville. Setting up my folders, getting all the Sims 2 pictures I will need to recreate all the lots and families! My goal is to have all of my stuff done before Psychedelicsim is ready to start on this world - and to have all of my creations complete by the end of the year.

After this - my current plans are to retire from creating and play, play, play!! sweet1

I don't recall, but I did for a little while. It's too much for me Cori. And No - I have spent every second of my time creating and only recently have actually had an opportunity to play the game. I've been creating for everyone, while they play - now it's my turn. I'm burned out. I'll finish up these two projects and No more for me. I'm tired of it all ... sweet I am very much looking forward to actually getting to play the game and taking time for my real life - which I've also neglected because I've been creating all the time. It's ME time! Lol

We all need a "Sims" break from time to time.
At least from creating .Time to sit back and enjoy playing the game. Smile

Is that Joset!? Hi Joset! I am so looking forward to the break! Since I was so deep into creating with Sims 2 when Sims 3 came out - I went straight into creating with Sims 3 and very seldom took a little time to check out any game-play. Then I found several years had actually gone by without me even getting an opportunity to play the game that I purchased. So I am very, very much looking forward to just hiding away in my little room and learning how to play Sims 3. There's so much to check out and I also want to get back to my Sims 2. I am going to enjoy it while I can!! sweet

P.S. - for some reason only the little pictures are there and No names to show who it is. Question

Good News Okie. I finally got a new pc and installed TS3. btw that took all day....
Anyways It will be great to get back into the swing of things. I am going to play and explore for awhile. Taking a small break from creating until the urge hits me again. laughter

That's fabulous Joset!! :heers

We're almost done with Neighborly Sim State and should be releasing it soon. I've started on Veronaville recreations, slow going right now - once that is done - I'm taking a break as well!! sweet1
